2-lot waterfront subdivision with 4 premium residences on difficult terrain.
Challenge
From funding challenges post-COVID to the Auckland Anniversary day storm to navigating a steep site with deep foundations, this project had its fair share of challenges.
Approach
We used our previous experience in design management to get the structural design to work with the desired end result. Carefully managing the budget and contractors, we managed to pull it all off in some of the most difficult times the New Zealand building industry has seen. The steep terrain and the requirement for deep foundations were a challenge because the property is on a steep slope on the waterfront. We're confident that those buildings won't be going anywhere in the next few hundred years.
Outcome
Four stunning, premium waterfront dwellings, which are now generating rental income as long term investments.
